TUSCALOOSA, AL – The Wilberforce University men's basketball team fell to Stillman Saturday, 60-47, in HBCUAC play.  

Stillman used a 14-2 run midway through the second half to take control of the game. Wilberforce got as close as five points in the second stanza, but couldn't get any closer.  

Junior Daiquan Coach was the lone Bulldog in double figures, tallying 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting.  

Three different players – Germainn Marshall, Zach Brown, and Eduardo Diaz – pulled down five reboounds.  

The first half featured five lead changes and four ties with Wilberforce holding the biggest lead of the half at four points, and led by two points at the break.  

INSIDE THE BOX & NOTES 

• The 60 points were the least points allowed this season for the Bulldogs, while the 47 points were the least scored as well.  

• Coach has led the Bulldogs in scoring three times this season.  

• Wilberforce finished with six assists on 20 field goals.  

• The Bulldogs attempted a season-low three free throws, making two. It's the only time this season WU attampted single-digit free throws.

Wilberforce (2-5 overall, 0-2 HBCUAC) returns home 7:30 p.m. December 2, hosting Oakwood in conference play.
